Ghanaians have criticized Wizkid after he failed to perform at his own event at Accra Sports Stadium.
Wizkid, who is presently on tour in support of his new album, was scheduled to perform in Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
However, the performer did not appear after fans waited all night for him to perform. According to accounts, fans were still present at 7 a.m. on Sunday.
Fans have expressed their displeasure with Wizkid’s actions. Several people have approached him. Most Ghanaians believe that the artist should be barred from performing in Ghana.
The event’s producers, LiveHub Nation, have said that all tickets purchased will be refunded. Wizkid and his management have yet to issue a statement regarding their inability to perform or appear.
