Twene Jonas, a Ghanaian social media pundit based in the US, was allegedly shot and killed in New York City by an unidentified gang.
A TikTok user going by the name Nana Agyemang declared the noisy socialite dead. He was known for mercilessly criticizing prominent Ghanaian public figures, including politicians, celebrities, and pastors.
Twene Jonas was reportedly assassinated (not yet confirmed) on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, according to the account’s anonymous operator, who uploaded a video paying tribute to the internet personality.
Because of his persistent criticism of prominent Ghanaians, it is thought that Jonas may have been a target for murder, and a hit has now been made on him.
Yet, this rumour monger cannot be trusted with this information because he has a history of spreading dire information about celebrities that sends people into a frenzy.
It is still an unconfirmed report considering that he was reportedly attacked right after holding one of his rants on Facebook a day ago.
Why would anyone want Twene Jonas murdered for stating his opinions on national issues of interest?
Well, many have intimated that although he speaks about several critical issues, his modus operandi where he literally insults and verbally abuses personalities was uncalled for.
Therefore, it is assumed that his rants rub many the wrong way even though they helped him to garner a huge following on social media where thousands tune in all the time to listen to his rants on Facebook Live.
