It has been 10 days since the 2024 BECE ended; however, students, teachers, schools, and parents do not know exactly when school selection for 2024 BECE graduates starts.
However, there has been no release of information to that effect.

Unfortunately, the Ghana Education Service and the Ministry of Education have yet to make any official pronouncements on the school selection.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the government’s planned introduction of a new free SHS curriculum, which will start for SHS1 on September 27, 2024, is changing the school selection process.
The general public should soon receive an update from the GES and other public sector stakeholders and educational institutions about the school selection modalities.
The information to be released would have to answer all questions raised by stakeholders and further provide additional information to aid in the smooth after-BECE procedures. However, stakeholders have requested that school selection take place after the release of the 2024 BECE results.
