Currently ongoing at Baba Yara Sports Stadium is the Ashanti Regional Inter School Athletics Competition (Inter-Co).
Overall, 147 senior high schools divided into 5 zones are competing for Super Zonal slots
News coming in indicates that Kumasi High School has been banned from the competition for using nine(9) unqualified athletes for the competition.
Before the competition, the committee in charge revealed the conditionalities surrounding it. A school will be qualified to participate if it meets all these conditions.
However, Kumasi High School have been banned from the competition for bringing on board some unqualified athletes to their squad.

NB: Top Six Schools from both Boys’ and Girls’ divisions after the two days event will qualify for the Super Zonals.
